SoundFX is a select group chosen by audition by the director from the general student body and membership of the LAHS Vocal Music Department. This show choir represents Los Alamitos High School throughout Southern California. Although the membership's musical requirements are high, the foremost qualification is a strong desire to contribute extra time and effort for the overall benefit of the Vocal Music Department. Performance demands are great on these choir members. Auditions are held at the end of each academic year.

Our choir photographers, Jerry Levy and Marco Navarro, take candid shots of the choir students during dress rehearsal and concert performances as able. 5 x 7 photos are sold at the concerts and at the above web site for $5 each.
