If you believe that Music Makes The Difference then you are a Note-ables Booster!
As a booster member you have the ability to get season tickets for the shows at a discount.
You also are involved with helping fund and organize the program for our young adults.
Note-ables Booster Club is the non-profit organization that supports the entire vocal music department at Los Alamitos High School. We have over 200 participants involved in the vocal music program which is comprised of 5 different choirs. The 5 choirs are a concert choir that performs all types of music with an emphasis on classical vocal music, a beginning women’s group, a men’s group for beginning men and those interested in repertoire for men’s voices, an advanced women’s ensemble, and an advanced mixed show choir. Being part of this program teaches students the importance of teamwork, the value of hard work, the ethic of good sportsmanship, and develops self confidence. Studies show that students who participate in programs such as this get better grades, have higher graduation rates, and get into less trouble than the student population as a whole. Without the fundraising and volunteer efforts of the Note-ables Booster Club the program could not offer as many opportunities to as many students as it does today.
Meetings are typically the second Wednesday of the month in the Choir Room at 7:00 pm
